If you are participating in the Amazon Associates affiliate program you probably have one of Amazon’s fancy search or product widgets on your website. But if you would like to have a simple direct text link to an Amazon product or to the Amazon start page than you have to use the following format:
- http://www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN/?tag=Associates_ID
where ASIN is the products Amazon Standard Identification Number. You can find that either in the product details or in the products URL. You can find more information about getting the ASIN here.
Links to the Amazon start page are formed like this:
- http://www.amazon.com/?tag=Associates_ID
